I became a lot more tolorant of immature adults!
The Phrase "Bless your Heart" became mantra.

Now it's!OMG or I suffer from chronic amazement!

Wow MikePhil, we share the same birthday date. I once had a co-worker that had the Dec. 1st birthday too. He was about 20 years older than me. I turned 45 this year. Wow!! I never thought I would be 45. It does seem like just a number now. My partner and I were talking about when I turned 30 and he gave me a "bear party". It was like it was just yesterday!! My how time flies. icon_eek.gif

I celebrated 41 last month. I own an Xbox 360. I don't play it every day, but probably at least once a week if not more. I'm not sure that's exactly "old man" behavior.

I don't have an Xbox, but I have never acted my ageicon_lol.gif

Now that I'm 40, I'm cool with it, and I'm not going to change. My partner is 49 and he acts like a 20 year old, and he behaves like a child sometimesicon_lol.gif

I just turned 42 last month. I like to say I'm 40.2. Honestly, I am having a much better time in my 40's than I ever had in my 20's & 30's. The only thing that I changed was being more diligent about the gym. Happy birthday handsome.

I had no problem at 40, but 41 was like BLAM. I started reading "mid-life crisis" books, but found out that 55 is the new mid-life!!! 42 and 43 have been non-events. ;-)

In the 60s and 70s the 30s were mid-life ("never trust anyone over 30", and there was an episode of 'One Day at a Time' where the mother freaked out over turning 36). In the 80s it was the 40s that were considered middle-age. But now apparently it's the 50s. Go figure.

Happy Birthday! The 40's really are pretty nice in many ways...I didn't but should have changed my workout schedule...for me my metabolism started slowing down faster than I expected and I should have increased my workout schedule faster than I did...other than that just have fun and enjoy.
