Realistic New Year's Resolutions

    I know it's that time of year that everyone either decides to join a gym as their resolution (I said join, not necessarily go, haha) or those of us who are regulars and need to reevaluate our progress and decide what is realistic to work on in the future.

    I'm just wondering what those of you gym bunnies out there have planned for this year?

    I know that I have the hardest time gaining weight: my overall goal weight is 225 or 230, so I'm hoping to make a crack in these remaining 35lbs and develop especially some good arm mass and calves.

    Let me here it studs!

    Probably my largest area for improvement is flexibility. I don't spend enough time on it as I always used to. With my cardio set 6x a week, I will incorporate flex exercises those mornings.

    As far as the gym, I like how things are progressing, but I'm going to break up my workouts and focus more on specific parts. The Wichita YMCA's are great and the organization is starting construction of a new facility (to open in a year) right in my area. Looking forward to it all.icon_biggrin.gif

    Greater mass (that noticeable to the naked eye), and better ab definition.
    I realize that these are counter to each other, so I hope to address them in two separate periods of time.
