I don't hate nor do I judge, but generally I just can't stand twinks.

Its the general immaturity of twinks that makes them unattractive to me. The fact that they love attention, want to be in the spotlight almost constantly and make a big deal out of extremely trivial matters. (disagree? Please see: original thread post and ever reply by a twink thereafter).

On a physical level I like tall, muscular guys and if I had a choice between an average size cock and a large one, I'm choosing the large one. I've never been a twink but I'm naturally pretty scrawny so I've made it a point to work out and have already made strides and will continue to do so. As such, in my book, there's no excuse: you are a twink by choice (and you're complaining that that choice is lessening your pool of obtainable guys).

I'm not out to hate on you, SO sorry if this seems liek I am attacking you.

DIck size is irrelvant. I know plent yof twinks with huge cocks. And not all of us choose to be twinks. I trained on the national gymnastics team AND the national trampoline team and was only a little bit bigger 2 years ago than I am now, when i was at thetop of my game. We can't all put on the muscle mass and weight as easily. Everyone, or msotly everyone, busts their ass to get where they are, but boys liek me at 5'8 and 135 pounds, have a bit of a ahrder time. I can eat 3500 calories a day, not work out, other than walking around, and not gain weightin 2 weeks. Trust me, I've tried.

I'm not saying everyone is like this, but I know form my standpoint, I could workout more than you and not gain shitall.

I also find it unfair of you to say every twink reply since the start of this thread has bene dramatic and attention seeking. Obvoiusly twinks are going to draw some attention to themselves, in a thread about themselves. Those with the biggest biceps are going to tlak about themselves ina a how to build your biceps thread. It's simply the topic at hand.

I think part of the difference in the posts by AJeJr88 and Mizu5 stems from definition.

If a "twink" is strictly a body type, it's one thing.
If it's a body type coupled with an attitude and shallowness (amongst other things), it's another.

    I agree.
I think there is too much generalization on both parts. 1) That all "twinks" are attention seeking and girly. 2) That muscular guys are basically all brawn and no brains. Personally I think these labels go by body type more than anything. You could have a real femminine and flambouyant muscular guy and a real masculine skinny guy. Either or, the generalizations go too far sometimes and offend both "groups". People should just chill and go by the actual personality.

Well you see, I take it as a body type. I say this because I'm no more bitchy than the average person. I don't start drama. Sure i like to be the centre of attention once ina while. it's nice to be noticed. But it's nothing I strive for?

I never classified a twink that way.

No no, that's not what I meant either. I never said YOU classify them that way, it's just based on other opinions I've heard (not particularly in this thread).

I couldn't agree more. Isn't the best way to attract the kind of guy you want to emulate those qualities that you find attractive? If you like a charitable guy, be more charitable. If you want to attract some "muscle-heads" you become one. The OP seems upset that his type of guy (which I'm assuming is not fellow twinks but rather guys who happen to be a tad meatier, if not altogether muscular) isn't into him, when he's doing nothing to make himself appealing to this certain type of guy. Its been said time and time again: become the type of person you most want and you'll attract that person to you.

    Good call.

I have always defined a twink in two parts: body type and attitude. Its one thing to be skinny. Its another thing to be skinny, shallow, self-obsessed, immature...etc. To me, that's a twink. If you have the body type but none of the personality traits you're just a skinny guy, and you can still come to my birthday party icon_smile.gif

Is it safe to say that if you are slim or look like a twink, you can NEVER make friends with guys who have muscle? Like, if I meet a muscle guy or someone with any type of muscle who likes videogames, would they not wanna be buds because I don't look muscular. I dont need sexual, I just mean like good friends. Or should I never approach someone who has muscle for friendship because they won't befriend a small guy?

I know size of a person doesn't matter with friends(for me at least) but since almost EVERYONE has muscles, I don't wanna be lonely with no gay friends because I'm the only slim gay guy who is NOT feminine.

Ooh, well that is cool icon_biggrin.gif

There is nothing wrong with being feminine, but I fear the gays will assume I'm not masculine because I don't pack on tons of muscle. I don't have straight people assume this, but I hope gays don't isolate me because I don't look like He-Man.

To be honest, I'm kinda surprised when people self-identify as a twink. It's like self-identifying as a hipster; seems burdened with a lot of negative connotations.

Okay, here's my take on the matter. I like twinks, infact think the way they look is extremely cute and sexy.

    BUT
    BUT BUT BUT...

It is SUPER hard to find a "twinkish" looking guy who is just ....themselves. I don't care if you're feminine, or soft, or not a musclehead. That doesn't mean shit to me. Really. I find that alot of gay men, not just twinks, try to act like they see those around them and adhere to some kind of prancy, important, or just rude and stupid attitude. That totally TURNs me off.

I met a guy in a club who was a 'twink'. He was not a muscle head. He was not super macho. But I locked onto this guy, literally locked on...because I found him so attractive. And 70 percent of it had to do with his attitude. He was calm, laid back, casual, and nice.

That's it. Just be calm, laid back, casual, and nice. You will get the attention you want. Now. Can a calm, casual, laid back "twink" come and find me?

I ran into one of those last night (or shall I say, he ran into me). He was cute as could be -- thin, well-toned, smooth, beautiful face and body, etc. I was enjoying the touching and groping while sitting at the bar, but his mannerisms were a total turn-off. His "girlfriend" seemed to be more important than anything, and he acted like more of a girl than she. You shoulda seen the look on his face when I grabbed another hot guy walking by, lip-locked him, and left with that guy less than 5 minutes later. icon_lol.gif
