If you've been watching the popular and totally awesome SOAP Young and the Restless than you KNOW that Amber was exposed in public this week when Cane (her estranged ex husband) pulled her wig off at the Fresh Face of Jaobo Model Competition. She had been barred from entering the competition because of her past relations with Cane, but she entered in disguise as a fictitious Miami debutant "Marina."
If you are familiar with Y&R, than you know that Amber is an attractive blond that has been causing trouble since she stepped foot into Genoa City. Among her many ambitious and crooked schemes she:attempted to steal Cane Ashby's (Daniel Goddard)fortune as an heir to the Chancellor Estate by drugging him and enlisting a look alike to marry her in a Vegas style elopement. Cane was able to come to and thwart her before the necessary documents could be signed. She also got Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) addicted to porn, which cost him his newly wed bride, Lilly Winters. Amber was able to inlist his help in her recent scheme, but even he doesn't know that SHE is the one who is hiding the missing money that was taken from the late Giman's hotel room, a murder that Victor Newmann is being framed for! Whether or not Amber killed Giman is inconclusive, but she was in the room when Jill came in and found that Amber had discovered Giman dead.
Anyway, I could write a book over what's happened just this week on Y&R, but Amber is one of the characters that keeps me tuned into The Young and the Restless. I think it is interesting that Daniel Romalotti has taken to be her partner in crime while Cane Ashby is seeing Lilly Winters! And here's the kicker, Amber still loves Cane!
